Welcome to a Spooktacular Halloween Treat Extravaganza!

Halloween puff pastry Witches Brooms Recipe are so adorable and really easy to create this impressive looking spooky snack.

Ingredients

  • 500g puff pastry, thawed
  • ¼ cup Nutella more or less as needed
  • 12 pretzel sticks
  • 2 tablespoons milk for brushing
  • 2 tablespoons raw sugar 

Method

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180°. Line two baking trays with baking paper. Set aside.
  2. Roll out puff pastry and lightly flatten with a rolling pin. Cut the dough into 12 pieces measuring roughly about 7 cm by 8cm.
  3. Place a teaspoon full of Nutella on only 6 of the pieces and spread evenly, cover each piece with the remaining 6 pieces, turn them vertically and make thin slits in the dough, leave approximately 1cm boarder on the top.
  4. Gently wrap the dough around the end of pretzel stick, and place on prepared baking tray. Gently spread the slits.
  5. Brush milk over the puff pastry. Sprinkle with sugar and bake for approximately 15 – 20 minutes.
  6. Let cool completely before serving.
