Fig and Ginger Ham Glaze

Bring a sweet, sticky and luscious flavour to your Christmas ham 
Serves 6-8

This glaze will cover a ham up to 9kg 

Ingredients 

  • 230 g fig jam 
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced 
  • 1 tbsp Maille Traditional Dijon Mustard 
  • 2 tbsp Billington’s Light Brown Soft Sugar 
  • 2 tbsp The Good Grocer Collection Honey 
  • 125 mL water

    Method

    1. Place all ingredients in a small saucepan over low heat and cook until jam has melted and sugar has dissolved.  
    2. Brush ham with glaze before and during cooking.
