COMPETITION PERIOD: The Golden Cherry competition period will run from 1st December 2025 until 31 December 2025 or until all five of the Golden Cherries are found (whichever occurs sooner). Winner must follow the instructions included on the Golden Cherry Card by January 30th in order to receive their prize. Failure to do so before this date will result in a forfeit of the prize.
PROMOTION DESCRIPTION: Purchase a 2kg box of cherries, and if you find a Golden Cherry nestled amongst our premium Australian cherries, you will win a $1000 The Good Grocer Gift Card! The Golden Cherry Card will outline the prize details and how to redeem. By purchasing a 2kg box of cherries, you agree to the competition terms and conditions.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE: The Golden Cherry is open to residents of Western Australia, who are at least eighteen (18) years of age, as of the date of entry.
Employees of The Good Grocer and any members of their immediate families or households are ineligible to participate.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Purchase a 2kg box of cherries from a participating store, once purchased, open the box, if you have a Golden Cherry Card inside you will instantly win. Details on how to claim your prize will be included on the Golden Cherry Card. Payment of a 2kg box of cherries must be made prior to the box being opened, otherwise the win is not valid.
By purchasing a box of 2kg cherries, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
WINNER NOTIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS: If you have purchased a 2kg box of cherries and find the Golden Cherry Card you will be deemed the winner. There will be information on the Golden Cherry Card on how to redeem your prize. You will need to follow these instructions in order to receive the prize.
Winners agree that the promoter may use winner’s name, likeness, and/or prize information, in connection with The Golden Cherry competition for promotional, advertising, or other purposes, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, including without limitation, the Internet, without limitation and without further payment, notification, permission, or other consideration, except where prohibited by law, without further payment or consideration, notification or permission.

PRIVACY: Participants agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner, or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Australian data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
Participant agrees to release and hold harmless the promoter, administrator, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, and prize suppliers, and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action including but not limited to damage to or loss of property arising out of participation in the competition, or receipt or use or misuse or any prize.
