Orange Rosemary Chicken

This orange rosemary chicken is an easy, comforting dish that’s quick to prepare and with lovely light, aromatic flavours. A tasty mix of gently sweet and herby, it’s perfect for any occasion.

Serves 4



    • 1 tablespoon The Good Grocer Collection extra-virgin olive oil
    • 1 cup fresh orange juice
    • Zest from ½ an orange
    • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
    • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
    • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
    • salt and pepper
    • 1 ½ tablespoon honey
    • 4 chicken breasts

    To serve

    • Broccolini
    • Mashed Potato


        1. Combine the orange juice, orange zest, olive oil, honey, Dijon, rosemary and garlic in a large baking dish. Add a little salt and pepper, to taste.
        2. Add the chicken to the marinade and toss so that it is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for around 2 hours to marinade.
        3. When ready to cook, preheat the oven to 200C.
        4. Add extra orange slices and surround the chicken in the dish. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
        5. Serve with steamed broccolini and mashed potato. Pour over remaining sauce from the pan. Enjoy!
